A Little Journey
Far far, on the island of Moskenesøya in the Lofoten island chain, above the Arctic Circle, there lives Reine– the most spectacular town in Norway. Separated they reside in Bookmarksgrove right at the coast of the Semantics, a huge language ocean. The landscape surrounding Reine is simply amazing– the winding streets and remarkably colored houses of the town cluster around the calm blue waters of the sea, with abundant, sloping green hills forming a stunning background.
In Reine, you’ll likely stay in rorbuer, old anglers’s houses that have in fact been changed to accommodations for visitors. Activities include fishing, clearly– either with yourself or with others on a local boat– in addition to kayaking, whale biking, bird and watching finding.
You can camp under the stars on close-by beaches, record a ferryboat to a surrounding town or control a few of Norway’s finest walkings. One, which takes hikers up the mountain called Reinebringen, leads tourists to remarkable views of the island chain from above.
You’ll similarly catch aurora borealis from about September through April on cold, clear nights.
In Reine, whatever is totally tranquil, captivating and more than stunning. This is the approach nature prepared it to be amongst the most beautiful towns on earth.
